What information does Mann's Woodcare need when a customer places an order?
When a customer places an order over our web site, we will ask for your payment method preference, credit card account number and expiration date (if applicable), name as it appears on your credit card, "bill to" address, daytime phone number, and e-mail address. You will have the option of saving this information for future purchases. The information is stored in the form of a "cookie" in your computer. Cookies are text files that are stored on your computer. Your browser should give you the option to refuse cookies. You can still visit our web site and make purchases if your browser does not accept cookies. Mann's Woodcare will also need to know the "ship to" address if different from the billing address.
Our customers should feel confident that the above personal information is transmitted over secure servers. This information is necessary to properly process your order. Our systems limit access to this information only to employees who may need it to process your order. To complete a credit card transaction, the pertinent credit card information is securely forwarded to our credit card processor for authorization. Product Guarantee
Our products are fully guaranteed to be as stated. Our product line is made up of very high quality products and generally perform as such when used according to manufacturers recommendations. Briwax waxes are often liquid in hot weather and this is not a defect, but an inherit trait of the wax blend. Defective Briwax products will be replaced. Liability as to performance is guaranteed to be as stated by sheets titled "Product Data", but limited to the cost of or replacement of the product.
ReturnsUnused/unopened products excluding 7 pound cans can be returned for credit, excluding shipping costs. Prior approval on all returns is required and may be obtained by emailing us for an RA Number. Orders returned without an RA are subject to refusal. Items returned are subject to a re-stocking fee of 15%. 7 pound cans are non-returnable! If merchandise arrives damage or if there is question as to this, please contact us via email. All merchandise comes insured and the paperwork is the responsibility of the buyer.
SALES TAX & SHIPPING INFORMATION:
Our software will automatically add 5% Maine sales tax to orders being shipped to Maine addresses.
When placing an order, you are given the choice of USPS First Class Priority, United Parcel Service (UPS) or Federal Express (Overnight). Please be aware before placing your order that shipping costs for Federal Express service is substantially higher. If your order is heavy we reserve the right to ship via UPS.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
Due to constraints built into the website, we are not able to automatically figure shipping and handling charges for overseas orders. Therefore the shipping/handling charges will be calculated after placement of an order. International orders require additional packaging and forms, therefore these orders will be charged a nominal handling charge and are subject to a prior approval. Please contact our customer service department at sales@mannwoodcare.com .
No orders will be shipped C.O.D. without prior approval and will have the necessary COD charges calculated into the shipping charge.
***As of July 15, 2003 COD Orders are no longer accepted due to customers repeatedly ordering products and refusing them once they arrive, thus prior approval will be vigorously looked at***
***Wholesale Orders*** We gladly accept wholesale orders. Orders must be for over $150 worth of products and we must have your dealer resale certificate faxed to 212-504-9550. To place a wholesale order, please use "coupon code" whlse 100 when ordering. Additionally, any "specials or sales" running will not apply to wholesale orders. Wholesale orders receive 10% off our already low prices.
We now offer the ability to accept payments for products through PayPal.
